We admit children from 2 years 2 months to 5 years old, in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education for early childhood education in Mauritius.

Le Cateau Vert operates from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, providing a balanced routine suited for young children.
Yes. The Kindergarten section (ages 2.2 to 3+) is fee-paying. The Pre-Primary section (ages 3 to 5) is free, as per government regulations for early education in Mauritius.
With over 30 years of expertise in early childhood pedagogy, Mrs. Bhaukaurally leads with a deep understanding of child development, curriculum design, and educator training.
Her visionary leadership ensures that Le Cateau Vert remains at the forefront of early years education in Mauritius.
A seasoned education professional with over 50 years of experience in teaching, school leadership, and institutional management. Mr. Bhaukaurally provides strategic oversight, policy direction, and operational excellence across both campuses of Le Cateau Vert.
With more than 12 years of experience in human resource strategy and organisational management, Mrs. Bhaukaurally oversees recruitment, staff development, and performance systems. She plays a key role in aligning our people and processes to achieve the school’s mission of excellence.
